Place the hot soldering iron tip on top of the braid. Remove the braid and the hot iron at the same time. Cut off the end that contains the unwanted solder. The temperature of the soldering iron bit must be sufficient to liquify the solder efficiently. The braids come in 1.5m lengths of three different widths of 1mm (N47FX), 1.5mm (N48FX) and 2mm (N49FX).
